Two Texans were recently announced as the Bank of America Chicago Marathon Top 100 Program, which is designed to recognize the 100 fastest Open Men and Open Women by providing race morning amenities along with a chance to start at the front of the field.

Joshua Trevino, a 25-year old, most recently competed for the University of Maine and captured the 2009 Hottest Half Marathon in Dallas on August 23rd in a course record time of 1:10:27, will be representing Irving, Texas.

Representing San Antonio will be 28-year old and newbie to running, Daniel Jess. Jess is recently coming off a 1:10:33, 5th place finish, at the 2009 Chicago Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon.

Good luck to both of them, as they finish up their preparations for the October 11th race.
